The Creationist Museum Is Failing, And Ken Ham Is Blaming Atheists

In the midst of all of the horrible news that’s
been coming out of basically the entire United States for the last few months, this past
weekend we actually got a little bit of a glimmer of hope in the form of slightly good
news, and that good news is that that creationist museum up in Kentucky created by Ken Ham,
is actually failing. Now I know that may not seem like such great
news or like it’s some kind of insignificant piece of news, but it actually means something
here in the United States today. Do you know what it means? It means that people aren’t willing to go
shell out money to be lied to about things that are easily, verifiably not true. Maybe you believe in religion and that’s absolutely
fine. Maybe you believe that a 600-year-old man
built a giant boat and gathered up two of every animal in the world, blah blah blah. Fine, but we have fossil evidence that dinosaurs
existed, and they existed long before human beings. We have evidence and scientific findings that
tell us that the world is older than four or five thousand years, and so it’s good news
that this museum is failing, because it tries to undo the scientific education that we are
giving our children, and that we ourselves have learned. But Ken Ham, again, the fundamentalist who
created this whole thing, isn’t willing to go down without a fight. According to Ken Ham, the reason his creationist
museum that is shaped like a giant Noah’s Ark is failing, is because of those darn atheists. Now Ken Ham didn’t exactly explain how atheists
are somehow sabotaging attendance at his park, but in his mind, it’s the atheists’ fault. Maybe he thinks the atheists have reached
enough people in the United States to turn us all into “godless heathens,” as he would
say. But the truth is that people don’t want to
be lied to, and they sure as hell don’t want to pay money to be go to be lied to. You know, talk about a bad investment, and
furthermore, Ken, if you’re such an intense fundamentalist, somebody who believes in the
literal word of the Bible, why didn’t you just ask God for a bailout? Right? I mean, if you are allegedly doing his work,
doing what he wants you to do, why isn’t he helping you? It’s almost like he’s forsaken you, right? The truth is, nobody cares about your stupid
little museum. Nobody cares that you’re trying to warp the
minds of children in the United States with your backwards teachings. If people want to raise their children religious,
that is their choice. That is something they can absolutely do and
there is nothing wrong with that, as long as those children also get a proper scientific
education and learn what’s real and what’s a belief.

You seem to be confusing the Creation museum with the Ark Encounter. Both are by Ken Ham.
I believe that the one that is struggling is the Ark Encounter.
    Good news anyway.
Ken Ham will blame atheists, as he always does, to make people feel they can somehow fight the devil by going to his "museum".
Come to think of it, I shouldn't have used those quotes. His museum is, after all, a collection of antiquated ideas and one day, we can use it to remind younger generations that, even in the 21st century, there were people who didn't believe in science.

This is America and just try talking to Evangelicals about this bull shit. American Christians will believe anything their parents told them or some old fraud like Jerry Falwell. Ignorance , religion, and dumb bells are going to be here for a long long time. Our only real hope is education and just maybe the internet.

Blame the Smithsonian. They're the ones who are actually presenting real science for over 100 years. And they definitely do get a heck a lot of more visitors than the pitiful Creation "Museum".

    Creationism sprouted up after Darwinism
The logic was God does not have to obey
Physical Law. God is some kind of magic man. and could rest one day and work six days create everything . Denying and defying
    Physic Laws
So according to Creationists we have dinosaurs on the earth during the time of Noah
One of the simplest arguments against Creationism is population on time events after the flood
Creationist try to use science fact with religion and. try to muddy the waters of Science with their outlandish claims
The park hiring is limited to only people of Christian belief. I don't know how their strict hiring policy is legal ? it is bigotry and inequality. which goes against Civil Rights
This is not a Church because no church charges admission
and if their not paying taxes that too is unlawful cause it would fall under amusement park being they clearly charge admission
I know Ham received a lot of funding for this exhibit . Was it legal ?

    Rayburne Winsor
I have been surfing the internet on various posts and comments on the Ark in Williamstown, KY. And, of course, we know skeptics, atheists and evolutionists are going to go there only to criticize, insult and discredit both this full scale replica of the Ark and the biblical account of Noah and the global Flood. I look forward to seeing the Ark and creation museum before the Lord takes me home because the biblical fact of the earth-shattering, earth-restructuring global flood of Noah (Genesis 6 to 9) is so vital to understanding the biblical world view of a young earth (there are over 200 legends or flood stories of a world-wide global flood all over the world).

Proponents of uniformitarian evolutionary science, especially geology, dismiss the fact of Noah's Flood as a myth not so much because of the details of the story; for example, the dimensions of the Ark which, by the way correspond to modern shipbuilding construction (ratio of 6:1)–not so much because of the questions raised about the space and food required to accommodate all the animals on board, all of which have been answered before (the Ark had 1.4 million cubic feet capacity, which was more than enough space for all on board, with plenty of space left over for Noah and his family)—but because to acknowledge the fact of Noah and a world-wide , catastrophic flood would revolutionize everything they have learned to date about uniformitarian evolution in modern science, especially in biology and geology.

Keeping in in mind that a global, catastrophic flood would involve violent upheavals of the earth’s crust involving earthquakes, volcanic activity, flooding and tsunamis, consider the rapid geological work in minutes and hours as a result of local floods ((New Orleans), tsunami that hit India and Sri Lanka or the Mt. St. Helen’s explosion that according to one TV science documentary has virtually changed most of what scientists regarded as “conventional wisdom” as to geological time and processes for formation of many of the land forms and features we see today. Also, Christians who try to harmonize the Genesis account of Noah’s Flood with long ages of evolutionary teaching should remember that not only are they going contrary to well-established facts about the earliest record of human history and civilization, about 6000 years, they are also going contrary to Moses and Jesus, who stand or fall together on the historicity of the Noahic Flood (it was around 4000 years when the advanced cultures on earth in Egypt, Sumeria, Babylon, etc. first began to appear. These cultures produced marvels of human ingenuity).

I could say much more, but I have said enough to show that there is ample evidence to believe in the global flood of Noah–perhaps the most denied fact (next to Christ’s bodily resurrection from the grave) in all history by unbelievers. But, my friend, if you cannot believe that the account of the earth-shattering, earth-restructuring, catastrophic flood of Noah is true (historical fact), then you can’t believe any of inspired, infallible scripture (2 Timothy 3:16). Moses and Jesus accepted both creation and Noah’s Flood as as historical fact (Matthew 5:17; 19:4; Matthew 24:37-39).

Whether or not you think me somewhat proud and arrogant, I can say with confidence and assurance on both the basis of the scientific evidence and the authority of God’s inspired, infallible Word that I will take the Bible any day over the fallible opinion and reasoning of evolutionary scientists and modern skeptics (let them laugh, mock and ridicule), without apology and without compromise. Let them mock all they want and sit in judgment upon the truth of God’s Word concerning the fact of the global flood of Noah in their spiritual blindness and unbelief, God’s Word will one day sit in judgment upon them. Something to think about. God bless.

Which "belief" is more rational and logical???

Two people, one Christian the other Atheist, are walking through an apple orchard coming upon 377 apples "perfectly" in a row and "evenly" spaced apart.

The atheist concludes "nice accident" and continues walking. Obviously, not thinking anything more about it – as that is how he/she is brainwashed by "secular" society and his/her education to believe.

On the other hand, the Christian sees the exact same 377 apples "perfectly" in a row and "evenly" spaced apart, and concludes "WHO IN THE WORLD DID THAT?"

Which has a more rational and logical conclusion???

Logically, behind "order" is an "orderer". Behind every "building" you see is a "builder" you cannot see.
Behind something that is "moving" there is a "mover" – that caused it to move.
Behind an intelligent "design" is a intelligent "designer".

Now, let’s raise the "accident" odds.  For me to write this post I have 3 Billion DNA "perfectly" in a row and "evenly" spaced apart and for you to read this post you have 3 Billion DNA "perfectly" in a row and "evenly" spaced apart, so over 6 Billion DNA working. Now, is that just a random "chance" and "accident" to have 6 Billion DNA in a "row" to carry on this conversation???

Is that really a logical and rational conclusion???

Please get to KNOW the supreme "orderer" of this universe, and what He expects out of your life to find "TRUE LIFE" ITSELF.

Now, I recommend you watch former atheist Lee Strobel's "Case for the Creator".

Then listen or read Josh McDowell's "Evidence Demands a Verdict".

Follow the "Evidence", facts and "TRUTH" right into the ONE and ONLY established Church of Jesus Christ being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

May GOD open your eyes and heart guiding you to TRUTH HIMSELF Jesus Christ  (John 14:6).

You have more faith in Americans than I do. I think it's failing because after all the die-hard creationists have done their obligatory field trips and all the atheists have done their obligatory checking out of the stupidity, there's nobody left who wants to see it. The middle ground people just aren't interested in the subject matter, let alone having to shell out some pretty big bucks to see it.

Let me explain to you all, why religion even to this day, is such a stubborn _ that nobody can seem to easily get rid of.

Its religions number 1# alteration that is making all that possible, and it has to do with just one word: the word belief

    What is belief?

If you trace it back to the greek word "Πίστη" (pisti) in Greek, belief is a word that comes from the word "Πειθώ" (pitho) and Πειθώ is the Greek word for convincing.
Belief means to be convinced about a proposition being true or false and by a number of degree. Absolute belief is accepting a proposition to be 100% either true or false.

What religion has managed to do, is steal that word "belief" and infect its meaning, replacing every time religion means the word "hope" for something to the word "belief" in something.

Religious people don't "believe in God" – no – they just "hope that the God is real" and why is that?

Well because of how belief works, aka to be convinced about something.

In order to believe something in real life, in order therefore to accept it as true or false – YOU HAVE TO KNOW KNOWLEDGE IS A PRE-REQUIREMENT OF BELIEF – NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

And that's what religion has managed to poison into our minds. – That belief without knowledge can actually exist WHEN IN FACT IT CAN'T

Belief requires knowledge and the more you know the more you accept – the more you believe.
And also, the quality of your belief is directly related to the quality of your knowledge. If what you know it's true then your belief (your acceptance) is true. But if what you know isn't true, then what you believe isn't true.

Why am I saying all of that? Well it comes from what he said at the end 3:04 "and know what's real and what's a belief" and I understand what ring of fire means by that (surely he doesn't use the words literally) but if we do use the words literally we can see why religion is winning this fight of the arguments.

'To know what's real and what is a belief' Let's analyze that.

If you know what's real then automatically that becomes your belief (or a belief). And rightly so, you know something therefore you accept it to be true or likely to be true (by the amount of how good you know it ofcourse).

So… to know what's real is to have a quality belief system. Belief is not a bad thing. In Fact to be convinced about things (until of course your knowledge changes) is a good thing. You see why religion is winning?

Because religion made "belief" a bad thing. Religion asks a scientist if he believes in evolution, like … believing is a bad thing.

Belief isn't a bad thing, as long as its true, as long as it comes from collecting knowledge which is of course beliefs pre-requirement.

A bad belief is to not know that belief requires knowledge and to just say the word itself like it's a magical spell.

To say "I believe that God exists" means that you know that the existence of God is true. You cannot say that you believe in God and then when I ask you why; you say "I don't know". If you don't know, then you don't have the right to say that you believe.

But religion has turned this beautiful word into a magic spell that if you say "I believe in God" that will get you to heaven.

You see why religion is winning? Because they take the words and they twist them – they rip off the meaning from the words and they put their own without telling anybody.

Belief ISN'T hope. Belief REQUIRES knowledge. And the more knowledge you have the more you can believe something. That's why we believe in science, because we know. And we think that the quality of our knowledge is sufficient enough for us to form that belief. That acceptance… that convincement.

On the other hand you have "hope"

Hope doesn't require knowledge… You can hope for whatever you like, that doesn't require any knowledge whatsoever. Of Course it doesn't mean that you can hope for something and it will be true – but at least hope doesn't require knowledge. So religion took the words "hope" and "belief" twisted them, and then butchered the meaning of hope into the spelling of "b e l i e f" and voila!

A powerful tool against any reasonable argument!

You can't destroy religion without fixing all the butchering of English words like "belief" and "knowledge" and "facts" by religion.

That's why illiterate people say they "believe" in God, because they don't even know what the words mean.

belief comes from knowledge, not the other way around

I still think my ‘turn it into a casino’ idea could work. In Vegas they have the Treasure Island Casino. You could add fake Masts, put some dummy rigging and other stuff to make the Ark look like a Silly Pirate Ship and call it the Treasure Island Encounter. Give the Animatronic Noah an eye-patch and a peg-leg and he’d fit right in. Clear out the biblical crap for slots, and blackjack and add concert halls and a big all-you-can-eat buffet.

In that area, it’d have no competition. It’d be a money machine!

You know something funny about those pesky facts that you all go on and on and on and on and on and on about. Maybe you should actually learn about those pesky facts. Carbon dating, which hasn't been done on dinosaur bones, can only date into the thousands of years. Carbon 13 has a really low half-life. So as these so called wanna be scientists we have these days, which a lot of them are actually starting to believe in God because of the evidence they are finding, say dinosaurs lived millions of years ago is impossible.

I love watching Atheists squirm when confronted with the truth reality science. That is why I love the Ark encounter… #atheists have a hard time explaining the reality in regards to geology. They can’t explain adequately coal formations and why there are corals and shells fossil layers below and above these Carboniferous layers… they deny the flood of Noah’s Day In spite of the massive amounts geological evidence that supports a global flood. I have to laugh when I hear the name called the ‘thinking Atheists’ which is obviously an oxymoron. The fool says in his heart there is no God!

"Why don't you ask god for a bailout?" He doesn't need to, he just takes money from his employees, who have to pay a percentage of their salary to the Ark Encounter.

It is failing because men loved darkness rather than light. Read God's Word.

  74. Russ Gallagher Posted on December 23, 2018 at 1:10 am

Inside of a year, that PoS called an "ark" will be hosting weekend flea markets! Yeah, one of each kind of flea: a Saturday and a Sunday!

The law restricts access to pornography to those over 18. We should do the same with religion!

  76. Colin12475 Posted on January 2, 2019 at 3:42 am

It's not true, though. But if Atheists actually were responsible, I'd be delighted to be a part of the failure of his museum.

  77. Harry Gearhart Posted on January 6, 2019 at 11:07 pm

Even god turned his back on Ken for being so stupid.

For someone that denies evolution, old Hammy sure looks like the missing link.

  94. PADon69 Posted on May 1, 2019 at 5:53 pm

Religious nuts and white supremacists don’t like science because it exposes their agendas for the bs that it is.
