Reishi Mushroom - Herb Of Spiritual Potency

reishi mushroom is quite well known as the harp of spiritual potency and it's been used as a spiritual catalyst for an incredibly long time for thousands of years but the time harbor spiritual potency is something that is really quite commonly misunderstood I mean a lot of people tend to think that it's some kind of spiritual drug or some kind of spiritual powerup or something like that where they can just take it and it's going to make them more spiritual though it's going to provide them with spiritual experiences and it's going to you know create a sense of enlightenment within the consumer of reishi mushroom and this really isn't the case the way in which reishi works upon us and facilitates in our own personal development is really what I want thing that I mentioned in a video I made on the health benefits of reishi mushroom it's the fact that reishi is actually a saprophyte so in its natural wild ecosystem it's growing on dying and dead trees that's breaking that organic matter down into very fine houmous that is building the soil of the forest and it's actually nourishing and feeding into you and supporting and providing protection and immunity to all species that exists within that forest and in much the same way when we consume really good quality ratio over the long term reishi actually works within our mind within our consciousness in much the same way it actually works on those darker areas of ourselves areas that we often try to avoid areas that are really acting as obstacles to our own personal development and our progress on the spiritual path so reishi actually works kind of as a saprophyte in helping us to break these obstacles into a much finer kind of conscious matter a matter of dark matter of consciousness that we can actually work more easily with because it's not such a large overwhelming problem and so we can actually navigate it much more effectively and much more smoothly so gray she's not really it's not really doing anything to us it's not really giving us any kind of spiritual experiences it's not providing us with visions necessarily what it's doing is just supporting our own innate ability to navigate the spiritual path it's actually helping us to do what we're already capable of doing but we are finding it quite difficult so reishi is really a spiritual catalyst it's not a spiritual drug that is just propelling us down you know towards enlightenment that's really not at all how it works now it's obviously going to be much more effective if we're already on a spiritual path if we already have a daily spiritual practice if we're already well-acquainted with working on ourselves if we're already trying to you know transform ourselves if we're trying to change ourselves if we're trying to grow and actually make progress then reishi is actually going to be able to you know facilitate that progress and actually propagate that progress much more easily now Roshi actually works on our consciousness at a very deep level it's it's really not at all uncommon for long-term users of reishi to you know talk about experiencing much greater states of clarity to have much more depth to our states of awareness and to experience feelings of equanimity and just peace and tranquility and to be less divided in the way we relate to the world and to other people and to actually have a much more all-encompassing view of the world and you know this is all something that we can variance in the waking state but also something that's very very common with ratio over long-term use and something that's been documented for an incredibly long time is racis ability to actually kind of show up in the dream state while we're sleeping and to actually allow greater clarity and greater mindful awareness in the dream state and how lucidity and developing lucidity and maintaining lucidity in the dream state can actually become something that is supported by long-term use of reishi and this is really very important because in in a dream for example if we become lucidly aware then we can understand that this is just a dream nothing in the dream is actually inherently real it's nothing is inherently substantial at all and when we understand that and we can rest in that awareness we begin to relate to the phenomena of dream in a very different way we begin to not emotionally react to things that are happening in the dream we begin to be less affected by things that are happening in the dream and rather than just being a kind of victim of the dream and just reacting to things happening in the dream all the time we can begin to contribute to the dream we can begin to create the dream and so we can develop this relationship with the dream where we are resting in mindful awareness and actually becoming the creator of that dream reality and this can really carry over into the waking state because we have developed through practice a familiarity with not reacting to phenomena in this divided dualistic state of either grasping after things we want or being averted by things we don't want we can actually cultivate in the dream state much more easily than in the waking State the ability to relate to phenomenon relate to experience in a more all-encompassing less divided less dualistic way and we can begin to experience a kind of a seamless unity of experience which is really the goal of all spiritual paths and it's much more easy to cultivate this kind of awareness and this kind of experience in the dream state that is in the waking State so really much more money helps us in this way and if we can develop this kind of dream work this kind of practice meditative practice in the dream then we can carry that over into the waking consciousness and begin to relate to this physical world the phenomena that we encounter while we're awake in in a very different way we begin to relate to phenomena in a less divided way just as we do in dream and we can begin to understand that our experience in this waking life is actually not as concrete as we first thought it's not as inherently real or inherently substantial at all it's actually no more real than the dream and we are creating this reality moment by moment through our previous conditioning through the you know through the karmic traces that we've activated throughout every single experience we've ever had and the way in which we've emotionally reacted to those experiences so we can really begin to open up the potential of our consciousness through meditative practices during the waking hours and while we're asleep and in the dream state and yeah of reishi mushroom can really propagate this whole process so this is really in my experience how long-term use of reishi can really act as a spiritual catalyst and I think a really good example of how this works on a spiritual path in a spiritual context would be a teaching known as the mother Tantra in the very ancient burn tradition which is the really the original indigenous spiritual tradition of Tibet that predates Buddhism to bet by very very long time and despite its very ancient origins it's a very sophisticated with very complete spiritual practice and in the mother Tantra they basically divide the development of our consciousness into four main categories in the first category is really our vision or our view or the way in which we perceive life the way in which we perceive our experience and if we can cultivate a less dualistic less divided perception of life then we can really begin to create our experience much more than being affected by much more than being constantly emotionally reacting to it because when we are operating from a very dualistic mind like I said we're either grasping after or emotionally attaching to things that we like that we have a preference towards or we're trying to escape from or revert ourselves from experiences that we don't like and we really don't want to you know have those kind of experiences and this is really the root of suffering and if we can kind of unify that that seamless unity of experience then we're reacting less to reality we're actually able to create reality more when we can cultivate that kind of perception then we go into the second stage of consciousness development which is action that's the way in which we're acting in our day-to-day life the way in which were interacting with people with with with world with with the universe with everything but life and if we're interacting with life from that perspective then our actions are going to be much more altruistic we're going to be contributing many more beneficial things into life that can be benefiting others as well as ourselves now the third development of consciousness then the mother Tantra refers to the dream state now obviously I kind of explained the dream state already and how we can you know really make the personal progress through the dream state and really advance down the spiritual path and in in the Bern tradition what they're basically saying is the dream state is very much like the intermediary state of consciousness after death so you know we fall asleep and it's a kind of intermediary state of consciousness until we wake up now in in the mother Tantra it's saying that the moment of death is in much the same way as asleep it's like a kind of intermediary state between the end of this life and the beginning of what's coming next whatever that may be so it's you know it's said to be infinitely more intense the experience of that intermediary state after death then the dream state but really the dream state and you know that that whole consciousness throughout sleep is something that is the closest we can get to that step that Bardo state that state after death that's the closest we can get to that state throughout this you know this physical life this experience that we're having right now in life so through cultivating meditative awareness through the dream state we're actually preparing for the fourth and final stage of the development of our consciousness according to the mother Tantra which is that that state of after death that after death transitory State so that's that's something that we can't practice really we only have one opportunity in this life or in this death to actually experience that and navigate that after death experience to the best of our ability and so all we have to prepare for our death ultimately are those first three stages of development of our consciousness developing our perception developing our actions and developing our dreams and our our ability to remain lucid Lia we're in the dream state and actually begin to meditate during those experiences so through those three stages of consciousness development we can actually prepare throughout our whole lives from this day until that moment that we die and we can really stack the odds in our favor that we're going to be able to navigate that moment of death much more smoothly much more effectively without being tossed around left and right by the very dramatic experiences that are likely to unfold and the kind of emotional states that we may be experiencing at that time and we're going to be much less drawn to or averted by those experiences and we can just rest in that seamless unity of experience and navigate our way to whatever is coming next and so ultimately to wrap it up that's really from my perspective how I see reishi mushroom as a tool that can really support this kind of spiritual practice which really is the practice of a lifetime so people that think that you take reishi and suddenly you know you're very nearly enlightened because you're taking the hub of spiritual potency know you've really need to be engaging with a spiritual practice on a daily daily and nightly basis for the rest of your life but reishi mushroom really does have the capacity to support development on that path

I purchased the tea for nutritional benefit, i really do not want vivid dreams interfering in my perceptions. Thanks for the info, probably not too strong.

Oh my dear boy.. it's a good video but never try to place reishi mushroom of immortality into a box .. it is a powerhouse to sensitive beings… for some out there it can be whatever the spirit wishes.

At min 2 if I were you, I would omit the phrase “reishi doesn’t give us any spiritual experiences”. I think what you really meant is that it does not give us any psychedelic experiences. It does increase our spiritual energy, which will give a highly spiritual state of mind, which translates as a spiritual experience. If you want to validate this drink 2L of bitter reishi brew for a couple of days. I think you will agree with me.

I mean I agree with like one point. But really, it's you vs. hundreds of years of monks using this herb as a tool to the divine. So I'm going to go with it does help elevate one spiritually.

Listen, friend, if you take a close look at the artwork in the LAST SUPPER, look real close at the left wrist of the figure Jesus, the blood in the painting, going into the glass cup, the blood is a ganoderma mushroom. Spirit is Wind.Pnuma, Pnumonia,a Lung disease…. This is what the Christians wre talking about . Look up John Allegro, and the dead sea scrolls. All mushrooms, not magic mushroom salone, but all mushrooms in nature are supreme medicines. NO KIDDIN. Get it right!!! spiritual does not mean stoned, alone,it includes that but mostly healing immunity. Got it??? good!!! LOLOL!!! Mental and Physical health. Especially IMMUNE FUNCTION!!!!!! When Jesus of the Christian view says "every mountain will be brought low and every valley filled in" he is talking immunity, our innate immune system is up or down regulated by the beta glucans in mushrooms. Mushrooms are why animals in the forest don't need flu shots or vaccines!!! thanks for your posts!!!

About dreams and our sleep state – people spend an average of 8 hours sleeping in a 24 hour day. We spend 1/3 of our life in a sleep or dream state. It is every bit as real of an experience as our wake state except for 1 thing – our physical body cant actually die from a death experienced in our sleep. What we may not realize is when we are in our sleep state we go where we will end up when we pass on Earth. Most of us dont remember our sleep state life because we chose not to. Looks like reishi is very powerful for our sleep consciousness and this is very important

What about taking DMT, wouldn't that be closer to the intermediate state than the dream state?

  19. Jenni P Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

+Anthony Tooley I would like to know more about your experience. It sounds pretty amazing.
How are these used? Do you eat them raw, cook them, make tea, or what? Also, can they be mistaken for a poisonous look alike? Third, are they found on dead trees or live? Thank you for the video.

    Another awesome video!

  21. Frankshanktic Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

First of all Paul – I enjoy your videos.  You make a lot of sense.

With regards to reishi I find it great for smoothing me out but mushrooms tend to give me brain fog and I feel as though it creates more of a dream state than take me closer to heightened awareness.  It's numbing for me.  Only Dragon Herbs Duanwood reishi has really improved my emotional intelligence in an obvious way but I still feel as though it's numbing. Am I the only one?

I've always been able to remember my true presence; my soul essence. I have had memories of this timelessness and utter euphoria, in a state of consciousness so familiar to me. When I was 15, I had a calling from ayahuasca. I prepared the brew by myself and drank it alone. I knew it was what I must do. During this experience I reconnected with my spirit consciousness. The one-consciousness. I was assured by my presence that it was indeed me and that I am here for a very important purpose, and ayahuasca was the reminder. I have been using Reishi mushroom for 3 weeks now and I have just started using the cracked spores. I feel like Reishi is working so effectively for me because of my ability to remember my true existence. It has now been 4 years since my ayahuasca experience and Reishi is allowing me to align my physical body with my being and not just my consciousness. Since I have started taking it I have remembered more about my experience than I ever have. My dreams are becoming easier to remember, and my physical body had been going through immense change, as I have been losing density and my body has been filling with life I am beginning to glow. I am here to experience and to educate. Education is the synthesis of ones inner knowlege; and I have some very important knowlege to share with humanity, and the many kingdoms of life. The fungi and plants are our biggest allies in this time. They hold the keys to mans full consciousness, and when you are ready they will be ready for you. Please, if you would like to exchange information about what I have learned or would like to share what you have learned, please message me. I love you all; thank you for this blessing.

Reishi gives me vivid dreams and often the content revolves around teaching me something.

  24. SuburbanoidMisfit111 Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

If you drink strong reishi tea (boil down 3-4 whole red reishi for about 6 hours in pure spring water) and then lay down to sleep in a dark, quiet room, you will see awesome visuals when you close your eyes. Don't force it, it's far more subtle than something like weed or shrooms, but it's there; shapes, colors, patterns. Reishi is a very awesome gift. Great for insomnia and stress, and I believe it can also heal on deeper levels within the mind, spirit and consciousness. I like to buy the whole mushroom and make my own "potions" on the stovetop in my medicine pot, so I don't know if this will work with alcohol based extracts. Making your own medicine is empowering, especially when it really works and you feel it beyond a doubt. Never got anything from the doc that made me feel like reishi (or chaga).

  25. zoearth Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

I've been taking Reishi Mushroom on and off for about 10 years it really is amazing through that time of being on it I was never sick and had loads of energy. I just started taking Chaga as well and I feeling pretty amazing with alot more energy feeling a lot centered as well. Great Channel good info.

  27. metalgodkill Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

a tipe of ancient yoga is about lucid dreams. practicly we are like gods in those dreams.and totally awake.i had 2 or 3 lucid dreams. i realized that when we can get everything that we want, everything get.s borring after a wile.so the limits in life and the strategy and struggle is actually the real value of it. god borred splitted in small pieces(humans animals enviroments etc.) to experience limited life.(big bang)

  28. Krissy Lynn Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

I just purchased some of the dual reishi extract on your website. Thanks for the educational videos. I'm looking forward to using the mushroom everyday.

  29. Nyishar Posted on April 30, 2019 at 6:51 am

As I said in the video, it doesn't "cause" anything but instead helps someone to open themselves up mentally, emotionally, energetically, spiritually etc… There are thousands of years of documented literature from the far east highlighting Reishi's powerful shen qualities, and after developing a close relationship with Reishi over time, the overwhelming majority of people do share such experiences. It is not at all uncommon.

How do you know the mushroom causes said benefits
