Flexibility exercise  | Muslim Physiology

This exercise is the hip flexibility stretch, or the figure four stretch. This should be done on both sides. On this occasion we will demonstrate on the right leg. Be seated. Feet, shoulder length apart. Cross the right foot over the left knee. Grasp the right knee and pull it gently, stretching towards the left shoulder. In that active position, turn your body on the lower back, gently to the right hand side to increase the stretch slightly at the upper end of the right leg. Hold this position for three to five seconds. Repeat five times on each leg. Captions by
