Faith Time: Coronavirus Day of Prayer

matters of faith, joining us this morning is Pastor Chris Williams with Yorktown Baptist Church Thanks for joining us this morning Guest: Good morning Anchor: We wanted to talk about a day of prayer for the Coronavirus. The Southern Baptist Convention has called for today to be a national day of prayer in the wake of the pandemic. What do you pray for in this time? Guest: Courage, strength, peace, and the well being of all of God Children Anchor: Another part of this is praying for the president and other leaders, what do you as God to do to and for the leaders in this crisis? Guest: Basically the same as anyone else but we also ask that God give him wisdom and knowledge to lead his people. Anchor: Why is this time a good reminder of how fragile the world is and our need to turn to God? Guest: the Bible declares that we are like grass, here today and gone tomorrow. Sometimes it take destruction, devastation, and desperation for mankind to see just how important it is to have a good relationship with the Lord. Anchor: How can we ask God for protection? Guest: the model prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13 is the best place to start. It’s an example of how we should pray. When we follow God directives, we won’t go wrong Anchor: What is the importance of prayer at a time like this? Guest: prayer gives us the opportunity to talk to God on any subject knowing that He is in charge and can change any and everything. Prayer can give peace and comfort in times like these. Anchor: Pastor Chris Williams with Yorktown Baptist Church Thanks for joining us this morning for this edition of faith time and news 5 this morning will continue after the break.

    And HE [God] changeth THE TIMES and the seasons: HE removeth kings, and setteth up kings: HE giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
    {Daniel 2:21}

    That at what TIME ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down AND WORSHIP THE golden IMAGE that Nebuchadnezzar the king HATH SET UP:
    {Daniel 3:5}

    And he [antichrist] shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
    {Daniel 7:25}

    Here is wisdom.

    Let him that has understanding COUNT THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST: for it is the number of -a- man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six.
    {Revelation 13:18}

    And he said unto them, "Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own TRADITION."

    “Making the word of God of none effect through your TRADITION, which you have delivered: and many such like things you do.”
    {Mark 7:9&13}

    Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the TRADITION of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
    {Colossians 2:8}

    Typology:
    ☆Tradition; Greek παράδοσις/paradosis = 666
    by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration;
    P(80), A(1), R(100), A(1), D(4), O(70), S(200), I(10), S(200).

    Typology of Babylon:
    Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
    {Daniel 6:5}

    And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

    And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his IMAGE, (Church and State, Spiritual and Temporal Powers.) and over his MARK, (Sunday Law) and over the NUMBER (666) of his NAME (Tradition), stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
    {Revelation 15:1-2}

    –Obviously you can not have victory over the beast, unless you are here on earth to live through it.

    But he answered and said unto them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your TRADITION?”
    {Matthew 15:3}

    "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

    But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
    {Matthew 15:8-9}

    They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
    {Titus 1:16}
